Event Description
Rock the Boat is a non-profit event to benefit the MARSOC foundation. The event highlights some of the region's top live bands and DJs as we cruise Mission Bay in support of a great local charity.
The MARSOC foundation is a 501c3 that provides benevolent support to Marine Special Operations Command (MARSOC) Marines, Sailors and their families with a focus on building personal and family resiliency as well as reintegration of MARSOC Marine and Sailors following wounds, injury and extended deployments.
Join us for a five hour cruise where six local bands and two DJs perform on a classy 500 capacity sternwheeler, the largest ship in Mission Bay. Attendees will enjoy the sunset colors transition to starlit skies with the beautiful bay and city lights as the backdrop. Rock the Boat is a night to support those who have served while celebrating the best of San Diego: our bays and beaches, our socially conscious people, and our diverse local music.
